Rachel Brown is a certified SomaVeda Thai Yoga Healer. She is a perpetual student of wellness, having completed this particular program and continues to learn more from InYoke Wellness Center with Alex Rhyberg.
Rachel is originally from Cincinnati and has lived everywhere from Lexington to Philadelphia and Northern to Southern California. Rachel started her personal body and mind journey in Lexington where she studied the emotional and spiritual self. Once in Philadelphia, Rachel turned her research to understanding social and business development and how it is connected to our bodies’ nervous system.
It is no surprise while living in California, that Rachel developed an interest in working with medical marijuana and exploring the benefits the cannabis plant provides for a wide array of ailments. She has worked for several farms, helping cultivate specific genetic strains to aid in targeted healing.
In 2015, Rachel returned to Cincinnati to help care for her father who was suffering from the news of developing tongue cancer, and the treatments that went along with it. She delved into nutrition, learning ways to nourish her father through treatment (traditional hospitals offered American cheese sandwiches for their chemo patients when what they needed was something more).
After years of informal and formal education (she has studied Psychology, Communications, Biology and Horticulture at the University of Cincinnati), Rachel looked for a program that would build on the foundation she had established throughout the years. Enter, the Thai Yoga Center, Inyoke Wellness Center, Alex Rhyberg and the SomaVeda Thai Yoga Therapy CTP program. Rachel is continuing her education in this program and will be offering this knowledge to all of her clients. Rachel currently offers SomaVeda Thai Yoga Therapy, EFT/Biotapping and Nutritional Guidance.
SomaVeda Thai Yoga Therapy is represented under the NAIC.
